The Local Organizing Committee of the World Masters Athletics Championships Daegu 2026 ("LOC") is expanding its presence with additional social media channels for better communication with participants.

The official Championships website has been updated with a focus on a participant experience. Key categories such as “Events Info,” “Venue,” “Registration,” and “FAQs” are displayed as quick links to help participants easily find what they need. The English version website is available, and a translation function is provided from English to target language, offering additional languages including Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, and more.

More language specific social media channels (an English language Facebook page, a Chinese language Weibo account) will be added so that Championships news can be delivered to participants from all over the world in a timely manner.

A monthly newsletter will be provided to subscribers, offering key information about the Championships.

Registration began on December 23, 2025 and will close on June 23, 2026. Knee and wrist support bands will be provided to the first 500 athletes who complete their registration, with this special offer ending on March 31, 2026.
